UKIEE 2027 is pleased to announce that the Federal Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Somalia has confirmed its commitment and participation in the exhibition.
The Ministry subsequently nominated Eng. Abdifatah Abshir Ibrahim, Director for the Energy Department, as the focal point for UKIEE coordination.
The Ministry has also indicated that it will share three priority areas to begin preparation for engagement through the UKIEE Project Room, with an introductory coordination call proposed to review Somalia’s energy-sector priorities and potential areas of engagement.
The possible participation of Somalia’s Minister of Energy and Water Resources remains subject to separate internal confirmation and is not being announced as confirmed.
