UKIEE 2027 is pleased to confirm the participation of Eng. Mahmoud Hashim Khliefat, Director General of the Government Tenders Department (GTD) of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In his confirmation to the organiser, the Director General said GTD looks forward to engaging with international energy-sector stakeholders and to representing Jordan’s public-procurement capability at UKIEE 2027.
Public procurement and digital transformation
GTD highlighted its role in advancing public-procurement reform and the digital transformation of procurement through JONEPS, Jordan’s electronic procurement environment. The Department identified areas in which it can contribute practical experience, including public procurement, contractor and technical-service-provider classification, tendering procedures and standard procurement documents.
Project Room and professional engagement
GTD has requested further information on opportunities for meetings, presentations and engagement through The Project Room. UKIEE will coordinate appropriate participation arrangements as the programme and meeting framework are finalised.
The confirmation follows the previously announced participation of H.E. Dr. Saleh Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
